The Pioneers’ Memorial Hall was closed for 2 years due to the pandemic, and was re-opened to public on 9 July 2022. The guest-of-honour was Ms Sun Xueling, Minister of State for Social and Family Development and Home Affairs. A short photography session was held outside the Ee Hoe Hean building with committee members of Tan Kah Kee Foundation and Ee Hoe Hean Club before proceeding in for a short tour led by Mr Kek Boon Leong, Chairman of the Pioneers’ Memorial Hall.
The Tan Kah Kee Foundation’s Pioneers’ Memorial Hall welcomed a distinguished guest, Mr George Yeo, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, on Friday, 1 April 2022. He was introduced by Ee Hoe Hean club’s Chairman Mr Aw Chye Wee and Executive Advisor Mr Lim Chin Joo.
