陈嘉庚基金会于 2023 年 1 月 8 日在香格里拉酒店举行筹款 晚宴

That we are defined not by our achievements, but contributions. And the more successful we are, the more we should extend a hand to those who need help”
基金会也在当天宣布，计划为希望继续深造的工艺教育学院毕业生设立 ITE 奖学金。
这个想法来自于黄循财总理，他曾表明新加坡过于重视智力“脑力”工作，而不够重视 “动手”技术工作或“用心”的奉献型工作。 这项奖学金将促进终身学习，鼓励人们迈入技术和奉献型工作的职业生涯。

陈嘉庚基金会由衷地感谢所有参与和鼎力支持我们的人。经过筹委会几个月的努力，晚宴圆满结束。我们也想借此机会感谢基金会的赞助人、名誉主席和理事们带头捐款以及积极筹集资金。
当晚华侨中学的二十四节令鼓队、光华学校的武术队、新加坡华族舞蹈团启蒙舞蹈团以及歌手与基金会支持者张仰兴先生的表演，为晚宴增添了不少色彩。
